The accounts to be used to track transactions performed in application sections are recorded using the G/L Connection Codes option.
G/L connection codes are separately recorded for main, second and the third charts of accounts.
G/L accounts for which the defined group connections will be used are recorded using the G/L Accounts (Main Chart of Accounts), G/L Accounts (Second Chart of Accounts) and G/L Accounts (Third Chart of Accounts) options located under the Attached Records menu on the G/L Connection Groups list.
G/L connection codes are recorded by following the "New" option located in the relevant connection code browser listed under General Ledger > Definitions > G/L Connection Codes menu.
The chart of account for which the connection code will be applied is specified on the Chart of Accounts field.
The G/L Connection Codes list menu options are:
