The Position Codes are used to define the sales organization of the company. When the salespersons are defined, each representative can be linked to a position, and his/her targets can be set. Different codes that suit company specific processes can be used. Various analyses can be performed by positions for sales and sales targets, and the performance of the salespersons can be measured. The option is located in the Main Records menu of the Sales and Distribution section. The Position Codes window is displayed as a table. The upper part of the table displays the company number and company name for which the codes are applied, and the lines include the position codes and definition fields.

Position Codes: Hierarchical coding can be done in this field. Each position can contain as many sub-positions as requested. The positions required to be contained under a specific position or assignment definition are separated from each other with level separators. Punctuation marks such as period and comma are used as level separators in the hierarchical coding system. Each position should have a separate code. The position codes are accessed through the salesperson window, and the salesperson position is specified.
Definition: The name or description of the position.
