Project template is saved with New button located in Project Templates browser. The following information is entered in template definition window.

Code

Template definition record code. This field is mandatory.

Description

The name or explanatory information of the template.

Auxiliary Code

A secondary coding field that is used to group templates. It is an alphanumeric field that is 10-character long. Auxiliary Code is used to group templates by company specific criteria. It can be used as a filter in reports.

Authorization Code

Used for detailed authorization definition. It is 10 characters long. There are records, which users should be able to use within the scope of their work definition. The relevant templates, which users will be able to use, are defined in authorization code field. Users will be able to access and process the templates only if logged in with the specified authorization code.

Work Group

Work group information of the template. It opens Work Groups browser. The relevant record is selected or a new definition is made. See. Work Groups

Responsible

The employee, who is responsible of the template is entered. It opens the list of existing employees, and the relevant employee is selected.

Organizational Unit

Specifies the organizational unit to which the template is related. It opens the list of existing organizational units and the relevant organizational unit is selected.

Target Warehouse

The warehouse, where material will be used, is entered. It opens Units browser and the relevant warehouse is selected.

Source Warehouse

The warehouse, where materials/services/assets (acquired as the result of the project) will be received, is entered. It opens Units browser and the relevant warehouse is selected.

Project Type

The project type that will apply for the template. It opens the list of existing project types and the relevant definition is selected.


When you save template general information by clicking Next button, a window opens to define project activities.

General Info
All information that is displayed in General tab is shown by default.
In Work Parameters section, project information is defined by shift hours. For instance, if daily working hours is 9 hours, 5 working days can be arranged as 45 hours. When calculating project and activity times, duration information that is set in Work Parameters is considered.
