The set component calculation is performed using the Calculate Components option located  under the Operations menu option of the right-click menu in Set Generation and Parting Operation slips.

Calculating Set Components in Set Generation Slips

The real aim of calculating components in set generation slips is to determine how many sets are to be generated without problems. The scrap quantity indicates the components to be used during set generation in addition to scrap components. Therefore, the total amount is equal to the sum of the usage quantity (component quantity required for the set) and the scrap quantity.

Calculating Set Components in Dismantling

The real aim of calculating components in parting operation slips is to determine how many usable component will be generated from which set component.  The input from production quantity is determined in the beginning of the calculation. Here, the “total quantity” changes depending on the scrap quantity. Since the input from production quantity is already clear, the total quantity is calculated by deducting the actual scrap from this quantity.
