Set generation and parting transactions for assorted, simple and variable sets are recorded using set slips. The set to be produced is selected using the set generation slip, and the usage, scrap and input from production slips are automatically generated by processing the production quantity and input quantity information specified in the material definition.
Inputs to be used in the production of set materials are recorded along with the material. Set slips are also used to record dismantle transactions.
Set generation and parting transactions are recorded using the Set Slips located under the Transactions menu of the Material Management section. The options on the Set Slips list are used to record, view and update set slips.
