Alternatives for proposals can also be recorded. This transaction is performed using "Add Alternative" option located in the right mouse button menu of the proposal slip. The material and/or service for which the alternative proposal is given and the related quantity and amount information is recorded on the lines.
The valid alternative proposal among those is entered on the same proposal slip is selected using "Mark as Valid Alternative" option in the right mouse button menu. The selected proposal alternative is displayed with an "*" icon.
A separate slip is generated for each alternative to be added, and these alternatives are displayed on the proposal slip as Proposal-1, Proposal-2 and so on. When the proposal is opened, the marked valid alternative opens. The first alternative is the valid alternative unless changed by the user.
