The Distribution Templates of the Material Class (General) materials are defined in order to facilitate the transactions. The materials connected to the material class and their respective Distribution Factors are specified in the Distribution Templates. The template definition is recorded using the Distribution Templates option located in the right mouse button menu accessed by clicking the material class definition to be used by the template while the Material Classes list is open. "New" button is used to add new template definitions to the Distribution Templates list. The Distribution Templates menu options are as follows:

| Delete | Used to delete the distribution template definition. |
| View | Used to view the distribution template without making changes. |
| Copy | Used to create a new record by copying the information of the selected record. |
Database Extensions | Used to record the additional fields to be defined by the user. | |
| Record Info | Indicates the users who performed the entry and update transactions of the selected record and the time of these transactions. |
Number of Records | Lists the total numbers of the records in the distribution templates list. | |
Multiple Delete | Used to delete the selected distribution templates. | |
Refresh | Used to refresh the distribution template information. | |
Back to Defaults | Used to display the active window with the standard dimensions defined in the application. |
The following information is recorded on the Distribution Template window:
Code: The record code of the distribution template.
Description: The definition or description of the distribution template.
Unit: The unit of the distribution template is specified in this field.
Aux. Code: A secondary code field used to classify template definitions.
Authorization Code: The authorization code of the template.
Start Date / End Date: Indicates the time range in which the distribution template will be valid.
The lines of the Distribution Template window are used to record the information of the Child Materials of the current material class.
Code: Child Material Code. The Child Materials list is opened and a selection is made.
Description: The name or the description of the Child Material.
Distribution Factor: The distribution factor of the child material that will be used in transactions. The detail lines of the material classes in slips and invoices are generated by processing the Distribution Factor specified here. Line details are easily recorded by using the defined templates in the Material Class lines of the Sales and Distribution and Purchase slips and invoices.
