Collateral methods are recorded using the New button located in the Finance > Definitions > Methods of Collateral browser.
The following information is recorded in the definition window.
| Code | The collateral method code. The Code field is mandatory. |

| Description | The name or the description of the collateral method. |
The Check, P. Note, Letter of Guarantee, Cash and e-Collateral options are the default options in the system.
