Asset groups are definitions used to group assets with similar characteristics. Asset groups are defined separately for each asset category. Click New option in the Definitions menu > Asset Groups browser to record asset group information.
The related buttons and the options of the Attached Records, Record Info and right click menu are used to define new groups or to modify existing definitions.
 

New

Used to record asset groups.

Update

Used to change asset groups.

Delete

Used to delete asset group definitions one by one or collectively.

View

Used to view definition information.

Copy

Used to copy definition information into a blank card. Used for quick data entry.

 

Change Status

Used to specify the usage status of asset groups. Passive asset groups cannot be used in transactions.

 

Add Group Member

Used to add an asset to the group. The new asset should be in the same asset group category. Asset information is recorded in the definition card that opens. The characteristics field of this asset definition will display the characteristics and defaults defined for the asset group by default.

 

Number of Records

Displays the total number of records on the Asset Groups list.

 

Refresh

Used to refresh the Asset Groups list.

The option used to record asset parts.

Usage Transactions

Lists the usage transactions for the asset group.

 

Usage Requests

Lists the usage requests for the asset group.

 

Record Information

Displays the time and the user of the first registry and the last modification of the asset group.

 

Record History

Used to list and view system log records.

  
Filters
The Filters option is used to list asset groups by specific criteria.

When clicked on Apply button, the records that match the specified filters are displayed in Asset Groups browser.
Specified conditions are stored for future use by clicking Save Filter Values button.
To use the criteria in the saved filter file, the saved files are listed and selected using Load Filter Value button.
