The fields and functions of the shipment address window accessed by clicking on "New" button located at the bottom of the shipment addresses window are:

Code: The code of the shipment address. This field can contain up to 24 alphanumeric characters, and can be sorted and searched. Alphanumeric characters can be used for coding. The code field is mandatory.
Description: The name or description of the shipment address. The string is 50 characters long.
Aux. Code: A second code field used to classify shipment addresses. Contains 10 characters. The Aux. Code is used to classify shipment addresses by company specific criteria.
Status: The field used to indicate whether or not the shipment address will be used in transactions. This field has two options: Active and Passive. When passive is selected, the shipment address is in the passive state, and therefore cannot be used in slips and invoices.
Authorization Code: Used to define authorizations for each record. The string is 10 characters long. Each user may be authorized to use different records depending on the job definitions. Planning must be the first step in order to define authorizations by record. First, records to be accessed by each user or user group should be specified. Then, separate authorization codes are assigned to records accessible by each authorization group. Records are encrypted according to the information provided on the Auth. Code field so that only the users who log in with the specified authorization code can access and process the records.
The fields on the Communication tab of the shipment address window and their functions are:
Address / Phone Number / Fax Number: The shipment address, (District, Town, City, Zip Code) and phone information (Phone Number and Fax Number), are recorded on the fields of the Shipment Address window.
Contact: The name of the contact person.
E-Mail Address: The e-mail address of the contact person.
The fields on the Commercial tab of the shipment address window and their functions are:
Tax No: The tax number of the AR/AP.
Tax Office: The tax office of the AR/AP.
Trading Group: Indicates the trading group of the AR/AP. Defined groups are listed, and a selection is made.
VAT No: The VAT number of the AR/AP to which the address belongs.
