The number of characters of numbering templates is limited depending on program module structures. For example, when G/L slips' maximum numbering capacity is 32, it can be limited as 20. The capacity of the template can be determined by users when companies are defined.
Windows Directory Service
Active Directory stores information regarding objects on networks and makes it easier for managers and users to find and use this information. Active Directory uses a data store configured in order to create a logical and hierarchical order from directory information.
Data store which is known as directory as well contains information in regard to Active Directory objects. These objects usually contain shared resources such as servers, units, printers and network users and computer accounts.
Security works in integration with Active Directory through the medium of login authentication and directory objects access control. In order to benefit from this property, it is required to enter valid user name and password before logging in.
In order run this system, you need to save Domain Management Info in Window Directory Service Administration section.
Domain Management Info contains the following details:

User Name: It refers to the name of user with read authority on network.
User Password: It is refers to the password used by defined user while logging in.
Domain: The name of Domain Server is specified inhere.
DN Path: It refers to the name of Domain Server registered in Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP). For example, it should be written in "DC=logo,DC=com,DC=tr" format.
Directory Service Server: It refers to the name of Domain Server registered in Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).
All options located in Settings section must be checked. Authenticity of defined information is checked with "Check Connection" option. History of transactions performed in Windows Directory Service is kept in Record Book.
"Windows Unified User" is defined in two ways in user definitions:

  1. You can change current user definitions in accordance with user names defined in domain user (user name must be changed in accordance with its definition in domain) and make definition by using "Assign as Windows User" option located in right mouse button menu. User name is displayed in bold font. User password refers to the password entered while opening the operating system.
  2. Registered users in Windows Directory Service are listed with "Add Windows User" option located in right mouse button menu of User Definitions and required users are selected among these. User name is displayed in bold font. User password is specified while opening operating system session.

"Add Windows User" transaction enables to obtain information from directory service only. You will not be able to perform adding, deleting or changing transactions for domain users.
In "Defaults for User" tab of the user defined as "Windows Unified User", you will see that "Windows Unified User" option is checked.
"Log in Automatically" property:
If you check "Log in Automatically" option in "Defaults for User" tab of the user defined as "Windows Unified User", user name and password are detected from Active Directory automatically, and user is logged in default company with his/her defined authorizations without displaying an interface for entering user name and password. "Log in Automatically" property will not be active while logging in the System Administration. You must enter password manually.
Start it automatically when I start windows:
"Start automatically when I start Window" property is added to User Options located in options of View menu. Thanks to this property, program will open automatically when Windows opens. When this property is used with "Log in Automatically" option, user will log in default company automatically with user name and password defined in the application when Windows opens.
