Production Order Scheduling displays Planned and Actual usages of workstations used in work orders in a time-oriented manner in accordance with filter options. This transaction is performed by processing target Start Dates of Production Orders, Work Order status, Working Days of the plant department, Working Days changes, exceptions, shifts and Overlap Rates.

Shifts, exceptions, and suitable working times of Workstations and Work Orders related to usage records are displayed on the table.
Production Order Scheduling is used to change Planned and Actual durations depending on the relations between Production Orders and/or Work Orders. This transaction is performed by modifying Capacity Usage information of the workstation in which the related Work Order will be produced. Due to Overlap Rates, each modification affects durations of other work orders included on the Production Order related to this Work Order. In other words, when periods of a Work Order are changed, Start and End dates of the subsequent work orders are modified by processing any Overlap Rates, and related resource usage records are updated.
Resource usage records are maintained for all related resources while Production Orders are being recorded. Such records determined according to production durations, calendar and shift information are used to indicate the works and durations each resource will be used for.
Production Order Scheduling filter options are:

Points to be considered in Production Order Scheduling transactions are:

  • Resource usages cannot be generated for times on which Workstations cannot work depending on their shifts, exceptions, working changes and Working Dates of the related plant department.
  • If the status of the Work Order is Closed or Completed, Planned resource usages of that work order cannot be changed.
  • If the status of the Work Order is Not Started, Actual resource usages are not displayed for that work order.
  • If the status of the Work Order is Closed, Actual resource usages are not displayed for that work order.
  • Overlapping Work Orders cannot be removed from the application
  • Usage records can be deleted if the Work Order status does not prevent changes.
  • Additions can be applied to usage records if the Work Order status does not prevent changes. In other words, if a resource does not work on a Work Order, it can be activated or the related working period could be extended. The LOGO application proposes an appropriate period to the user during additions.
