The section used to calculate and schedule input quantities required for production depending on the appropriate bill of material, and to generate proposal delivery transactions according to this schedule. Planning is performed with unlimited capacity in LOGO.
MRP is performed according to recorded master production schedules in the LOGO application. Therefore, each condition that will affect the requirement planning must be specified on the Master Production Schedule.
The Master Production Schedule to be used in material requirement planning is specified. Goods in MPS and materials that are inputs of the main products planned in MPS are displayed on the opened window. Requirement quantities are combined on this material by MIP if the same input is used in multiple goods. Requirement quantity is not displayed for inputs of SFG type since materials of SFG type are generated during production and used as soon as they are produced. The materials that form the SFG are important for such materials.
Realization of Production Planning Proposals option located in the Operations menu of the Planning section is used to perform Material Requirement Planning for the recorded schedule. Material Requirement Planning (MRP) should be selected on the Source of Proposal filter line during the operation.
