This operation is used to cancel financial period closure. Closure and opening slips, which are generated manually or after Close Fiscal Period operation, are deleted.
The following filters are set to apply during Undo Fiscal Period Closure operation.

If "Consider Manual Closures" filter is set to No, only the slips which are generated with Close Fiscal Period operation are undone. If it is Yes, opening and closure slips issued manually are deleted.
While finding Closure Slips, which are generated automatically with the operation, the slips dated with the end date of the relevant fiscal year and of "Closure" type, are queried.
The followings should be taken into consideration while running Undo Fiscal Period Closure and after completing the operation:
- If closure and opening slips are in Approved status, approvals must be removed before deleting.
- You must start to remove the approval of the slips from opening slips. You should not change the status of Closure slips into Draft if the related Opening slip is in Approved status. If there is any closure slip belonging to the period to which the opening slips belong, the approval of the opening slips should not be removed.
- For instance; when you run Close Fiscal Period operation for 2014, a closure slip is generated for 2014, while an opening slip is generated for 2015. When you run Close Fiscal Period operation for 2015, a closure slip is generated for 2015, while an opening slip is generated for 2016. In order to take the approval of 2014 closure slip back, the opening slip of 2015 must be in Draft status. If it is not in Draft status, it cannot be undone. In order to change the status of 2015 opening slip into Draft, system checks if there is a closure slip for the year 2015. If there is, the approval of 2014 closure and opening slips cannot be removed.
- After finding the opening and closure slips matching with the specified filters, they must be deleted after removing their approvals (if any). If a closure slip is generated for a period while a Draft opening slip exist in the related period, this Draft opening slip can be deleted since it will not affect the total of the closure slip. Therefore, while deleting slips in Draft status, no additional control is required. It will be enough to control changing the status of Approved slips into Draft.
