With this option, which is located in Definitions menu of Administration program section, Company Parameters Management window is displayed. From this window, all parameters and defaults, which are defined previously for all program modules under Definitions menu of Administration section, can be restored to factory settings. That is to say, all parameters and defaults back to their initial states. In addition to this, all firms defined in program, or some of them selected by user, can use same parameters commonly and defined parameter values can be transferred from one company to another.

The following headings are included to abovementioned transactions:

  • All module parameters (Material Management Parameters, Fixed Asset Parameters, Purchasing Parameters…)
  • Producer Parameters
  • Automatic Posting Parameters

In Company Parameters Management window, all companies, which are defined in system, are listed under Company heading. From Company Parameters and Common Parameters fields (that are located on the right side of window), parameter usage transactions are performed for selected company.
Selected company is shown in red. When a company is selected, if "Back to Defaults" option is selected under Company Parameters heading, all parameter and defaults defined for related company are restored to factory settings. When "Copy From Company" option is clicked, to the box next to this option, a company number is entered from which parameters will be copied. And all parameter values belonging to this company are copied to the company selected in line. But, common usage is not in question. That is to say, after copying, changed parameter values do not affect parameter values of the company which is subjected to copying.
Parameters defined for a company can be used by all other firms or by some of them commonly. In that case, all parameter values defined later on, will affect all firms' parameters at the same time. For this, firstly "Copy From Company" option is clicked which is located under Common Parameters heading. Defined parameter values belonging to firm which is selected in left side are copied to common parameters. By this was common parameters are generated which will be used by all or some of the firms at the same time. The companies that will use common parameters are determined by checking the boxes under "Common Parameter Usage" column. When check is removed, related company continues to use its own parameter values independently from other firms.
When a company is selected in Company column, if "Back to Defaults" option is clicked under Common Parameters heading, all parameter values of firms who are inside of "Common Usage" back to default by using company info which is selected at the left side of window (in red).
