Standard reports and the reports that are prepared by navigator table can be taken over another server or another database from now on in order to improve user performance and reduce the density in SQL when taking reports. Within the context of this, Main Server and Reporting Server tabs are added to the window opened by LGCONFIG.exe.

Main Server: This part is used to enter and define the database and server info that the data entries are done to. Before updating the version, server and database info is transferred to this part exactly.

Reporting Server: This part is used to enter and define server and database info that the standard reports and navigator tables of the program will be gotten from.

  • The up to dateness and integrity of the databases defined in reporting server and main server parts will be provided by the user. All the reports will be taken from the records of the database which is defined in reporting server part.
  • Likewise, Navigator tables will use the information which is defined in reporting server part.
  • Report filters will be read from the database records which are defined in main server part.
  • If any information is defined in reporting server part at LGCONFIG.exe, it will be controlled whether the related database and server is reached or not when entering the program. If reporting server will not be used, the fields in this part must be left empty.
  • In the existing structure, if there is a need of using an another database for reporting, this database should be generated by the users and the info which is entered to main database should also be entered to this new database as a database server feature. It will not be enough to make definitions only at LCONFIG.exe part.
