The packaging materials used in Packaging Slips are removed from the stock by issuing a Usage Slip upon the user's request. This operation can be performed using two methods:

  1. The first method is to generate Usage Slips by clicking "Yes" button when "Generate Usage Slip" warning is displayed during the record operation of the Packaging Slip.
  2. The second method is to select "No" when the warning is displayed, and to use "Generate Usage Slip" option located in the right mouse button menu of the Packaging Slips list when a Usage Slip is necessary.

In both cases, a Usage Slip is generated containing the packaging materials used in the Packaging Slip and the usage quantities. When the generated slip is recorded, the inventory operation is completed.

In the LOGO application, packages can not be removed from a Packaging Slip for which a Usage Slip is generated. If new packages are added to the Packaging Slip, new lines are added to the previously generated Usage Slip when a Usage Slip is required to be generated.
