The fields and functions of the distribution vehicle window accessed by clicking on "New" button located at the bottom of the distribution vehicles window are as follows:
Code: The code of the distribution vehicle. The vehicles are selected by their codes in distribution orders and routes. This field can contain up to 24 alphanumeric characters, and can be searched or sorted. This field is mandatory.
Description: The name or description of the distribution vehicle.
Aux. Code: A code field of 10 characters used to group the distribution vehicles. This field is not mandatory; it can also be used to process information not contained on the slip. The Aux. Code is typically used to group the distribution vehicles by company specific criteria.
Auth. Code: This field can contain up to 10 alphanumeric characters, and is used to define authorizations on a per record basis. This field is not mandatory.
In the LOGO application, each user may be authorized to access different records depending on the job definitions. Planning must be the first step in order to define authorizations by record. First the records that the users or user groups can access are specified. Then separate authorization codes are assigned to records accessible by each authorization group. The records are encrypted according to the information provided in this field so that only the users who log in with the specified authorization code can access and process the records.
Status: Indicates whether or not the distribution vehicle is used. This field has two options: Active and Passive. When active is used, the distribution vehicle can be used in slips and invoices. When passive is selected, the distribution vehicle cannot be used in slips and invoices.
Registration Number: The registration number of the distribution vehicle.
Point: The distribution grade to be used in loading
Width / Length / Height / Area / Volume / Weight: The fields used to record the Width, Length, Height, Area, Volume and Weight information of the distribution vehicle to be used in deliveries.
Driver (1) / Driver (2): The drivers of the distribution vehicle are specified on the Driver (1) and Driver (2) fields.
Price and Unit Cost info belonging to distribution vehicle is recorded from relevant fields.
Material Aux. Code 1-5: These fields are used to filter materials when generating distribution orders. After related vehicle is selected in distribution order, materials are filtered and distribution is performed only for materials which own the aux. code/codes specified in these fields.
The card containing the distribution vehicle information is saved by clicking on "Save" button or pressing the F2 key.
