The records of employees related to an employee group can be generated in batches. "Generate Employee" option located in the right mouse button menu of the employee group window or employee groups list is used for this operation. The following information is recorded on "Generate Employee" window:

Number of Employee: Indicates the number of employees to be generated.

First Employee Code: The field used to specify the code of the first employee to be generated.

Employee Description: The field used to specify the descriptions of employees to be generated.

Aux. Code: The aux. code of the employee.

Authorization Code: The authorization code of the employee.

Plant: The field used to specify the plant to which the employee is related.

Plant Department: The field used to specify the plant department to which the employee is related.

Once the generation information is entered, "Start" button is clicked and the employee records in specified numbers and characteristics are generated. Employees option located in the Main Records menu is used to modify employee information.


Shifts

The work hours of the employee groups are defined by assigning shifts using Shifts option. "New" button located at the bottom of the Shift Assignments window is used to generate records. The following information is recorded on the Shift Assignments window: 

Start Date: Indicates the valid start date of the selected shift. The start date is mandatory; if this date is not entered, the user is warned with "Start date not specified" message when "Save" button is clicked. The start dates of shift assignments should not be the same; otherwise the user is warned with "Start date already selected" message when "Save" button is clicked. 

Shift Code: The shift definition code identifying the work hours applied to the employee group. Defined shift definitions are listed, and the appropriate definition is selected. 

Shift Description: The shifts list can be accessed from this field, and a selection can be made from among shifts with active status.
