Sade The safe deposits are recorded by using the New button located in the Finance > Definitions > Safe Deposits browser.
The following information is recorded on the definition window:



Code: The definition code of the safe deposit. The safe deposit code field is a 16-characters long key field. Alphanumeric characters can be used for coding. The Code field is mandatory.
Name: The name or the description of the safe deposit. The string is 50 characters long.
Description: The field assigned for description. The string is 50 characters long.
Aux. Code: A code field of 10 characters used to group safe deposits. The Aux. Code is used to classify safe deposits by company specific criteria.
Authorization Code: Used to define detailed authorizations. The string is 10 characters long. Records are encrypted according to the information provided on the Auth. Code field so that only the users who log in with the specified authorization code can access and process the records.
Organizational Unit: Indicates the organizational unit of the safe deposit. Recorded organizational units are listed and the related unit is selected. This field is mandatory.
G/L Connection Group: The connection group code to be used to track safe deposit transactions in G/L. The recorded G/L connection groups for the safe deposit are listed and the related definition is selected.
