Bank definitions are recorded by using the New option in Finance module > Definitions menu > Bank Branches browser.

Code: The record code assigned by the user and used to perform bank operations and to track transactions. The Code field is mandatory.
The Bank records recorded using the Global option on the Administrator section are accessed on the Bank code field located next to the code field, and the official code of the bank is selected.
Bank Code: The code of the bank. The Bank codes recorded using the Global option on the Administrator section.
Bank Name: The name of the bank. The string is 50 characters long. The description field is also essential for bank definitions. However, definitions can also be recorded without entering description. However, all transactions such as search, sorting and selection are also performed by the description. Bank definitions are also sorted by their descriptions.
Branch Number: The branch number of the bank.
Branch Name: The name of the bank branch.
SWIFT Code (BIC): The swift code of the bank.
Aux. Code: A code field of 10 characters used to group bank definitions. The Aux. Code is used to classify bank definitions by company specific criteria.
Authorization Code: Used to define detailed authorizations. The string is 10 characters long. Each user may be authorized to use different records depending on job definitions. Records are encrypted according to the information provided on the Auth. Code field so that only the users who log in with the specified authorization code can access and process the records.
Organizational Unit: Indicates the organizational unit for which the bank transaction will be used. Defined organizational units are listed and the related unit is selected.
Check Open Limit for Loan Account: This parameter is used to specify whether or not open limit control will be performed for bank credit accounts. The field contains the Yes and No options.
When No is selected, bank credit accounts are not checked for open limits in credit demands of the company. The required amount can be entered on credit records.
When Yes is selected, open limit control is performed, and credit demands are recorded accordingly. The open limit control default in credit accounts is recorded using the Finance Defaults and Parameters of the System Settings module. The selection made here is transferred as default into bank definitions. This data can be changed if necessary.
Companies may receive credits from their banks without any collateral.

Internet Address: The internet address of the bank.
E-mail: The E-Mail address of the bank.
