Distribution templates are used for transactions of material classes with general material class type. The materials connected to the material class and their respective distribution factors are specified in the Distribution Templates.
The factor specified in the template definition for the child material is processed in input and output transactions. In this way, predefined shipment quantities or distributions can be entered for the material class, ensuring faster, easier and flawless management of delivery transactions.
The Distribution Templates option is located under the Attached Records option of the material classes list.
New records are defined and existing templates are updated using the related menu options.

| Update | Used to modify template information. |
| Delete | Used to delete the template definition. Active distribution templates cannot be deleted. |
| View | Used to view distribution template information. The information displayed using this option cannot be changed. |
| Copy | Used to copy selected definition information into a new card. |
| Number of Records | Displays the number of recorded templates. |

| Record Information | Displays the time and the user of the first registry and the last modification of the distribution template. |
| Record History | Used to list recording history by some info such as user, company, date, etc. |
| Refresh | Used to refresh the distribution templates list. |

| Line Coloring | Used to color the lines according to the specified criteria. |
| Back to Defaults | Used to return the window dimensions into the application default. |
| Save Settings | Used to save list settings. |
| Save General Settings | Used to save general settings. |
| Number of Records | It gives the total number of records listed in the Distribution Templates browser. |

| List Report | Used to report all records in the Distribution Templates browser collectively. |
| Grouped List Report | Used to list all records by grouping them by column headings. |
Selection | ||
| Select All | Used to select all records in materials list. |
| Clear All Selections | Used to clear all selections. |
| Toggle Selection | Used to toggle the selections in list. |
| Custom Selection | Used to select multiple records. |
