The material to be procured can also be delivered from other warehouses of the plant if available. Check Warehouses of Other Plants option of the Plant Parameters window located in the right mouse button menu of the Material should be checked for this operation.
If Check Warehouses of Other Plants option is checked, the materials in all warehouses are processed in the Proposal Realization operation. In such cases a delivery line of which the Delivery Type is Warehouse Transfer is generated, and a Purchase or Production Order is created for the deficit quantity.
In summary, if the material is specified to be procured through Warehouse Transfer in the Proposal Realization operation, the material quantity in the specified warehouse is checked first for the procurement. If the demand can not be fulfilled with the quantity present at this warehouse, and if Check Warehouses of Other Plants option of the Plant Parameters window located in the right mouse button menu of the Material is checked, the materials within other warehouses are used for procurement. Should there be any deficit a demand deliver line is created according to the delivery type specified on the Proposal Realization slip.
