The option used to record shipment agent definitions. The option is located in the Global menu of the System Administrator application. Defined shipments are listed on the Shipment Agents window along with the following information:
- Code
- Name
- Web Address
Shipment agents performing shipment transactions for AR/APs are specified on the AR/AP record, and transferred as default into AR/AP slips and invoices.
"New" button located at the bottom of the Shipment Agents window is used to record shipment agent information. Information recorded on the Shipment Agent window and relative functions are:
Code: The definition code of the shipment agent.
Description: The name or the description of the shipment agent.
Address / District / Town / City / Country and Zip Code: These fields are used to record the company address.
Telephone Number / Fax Nr: The phone and fax numbers of the shipment agent are entered on these fields.
Contact Name: This field is used to record information related to the contact person.
E-mail: The e-mail address of the shipment agent.
Home Page: The web address of the shipment agent.
Language: The option used to specify the language used in correspondences with the shipment agent.
URL For Tracking: The tracking URL used to track shipment status information.
Shipment agent information is recorded by clicking on "Save" button.
