Actual costs are posted to G/L with the same method used for planned costs. However, it should be noted that when planned cost is used as the cost accounting method, actual costs couldn't be posted before planned costs.
Regardless of the cost posting method used; if a production order is posted to G/L:
- Production order lines cannot be modified.
- Resource information cannot be changed on production orders and work orders.
- Planned and actual resource usage times can not be modified through resource scheduling for Employees and production order scheduling for workstations if planned and actual costs are posted.
- Production orders cannot be released if their planned or actual costs are posted.
- Production orders cannot be cancelled if related planned costs are posted.
