Operation requirements are specified on the Operation Requirements section of the definition record. Each operation requirement is recorded on a separate line. 

Priority: Indicates the priority of the requirement. Operation definition priorities are determined by lines; the uppermost line is the first in order of priority. Up and Downbuttons are used to change priority. When "Down" button is clicked, the selected line is moved to the next line below. When "Up" icon is clicked, the selected line is moved to the next line above. 

Minimum Quantity: Indicates the minimum quantity of products to be produced. 

Maximum Quantity Indicates the maximum quantity of products to be produced. 

Resource Type: The field used to specify the resource type to be used. This field contains the Workstation and Workstation Group options. 

Workstation Group Code: Indicates the code of the workstation or workstation group depending on the selection made on the resource type field. Defined records are listed by clicking on "..." icon, and the requested definition is selected. 

Workstation Group Description: The description of the workstation or workstation group. Defined records are listed on this field by clicking on "…" icon, and the requested definition is selected. 

Start Date: Indicates the operation start date in the selected workstation or workstation group. 

Fixed Setup Duration: Indicates the setup duration in the selected workstation or workstation group before the operation starts. 

Operation Batch: Indicates the number of materials allowed to be simultaneously processed in the selected workstation or workstation group. 

Operation Time: The time necessary to complete the Operation Batch. 

Move Batch Size: Indicates the number of materials allowed to be moved simultaneously. 

Move Time: Necessary amount of time for a moving the batch in the specified size. 

Inspection Time: Indicates the inspection duration of the produced good. 

Queue Time: Indicates the amount of time the produced materials waited in ready status before entering the operation. 

Wait Time (pre-operation): Indicates the wait time if the materials to be produced have to wait before being used in the operation. 

Wait Time (post-operation): Indicates the wait time if another operation will be applied to the material to be produced, and the material will have to wait for this operation. 

Occupation (%): Indicates the physical area percentage occupied in the workstation by a Unit output of the operation. 

Efficiency (%): Indicates the ratio between the efficiency of the Employee / Workstationand the standard efficiency in terms of Operation Requirements


Labor Requirements

The labor requirements of the operation are recorded using Labor Requirements option located in the right mouse button menu of the related line. The fields and functions of the labor requirements window are: 
 
Labor Type: The field used to specify the labor type. The field consists of the following options: 

  • Employee
  • Employee Group


Employee (Group) Code: Indicates the code of the employee or employee group depending on the selection made on the labor type field. Defined records are listed by clicking on "..." icon, and the appropriate definition is selected. If no employees or employee groups are defined, definitions can be recorded by clicking on "New" button. 
Employee (Group) Description: The description of the employee group. The defined records can be accessed through this field by clicking on "..." icon, and a selection can be made. 
Number of Employees: Indicates the number of employees to be involved in the operation when the labor type is selected as employee group. 


Tool Requirements

The tool requirements of the operation are recorded using Tool Requirements option located in the right mouse button menu of the related line. The fields and functions of the tool requirements window are as follows:

 

Code: The code of the tool to be used in the operation. Materials are listed by clicking on "…" icon, and a selection is made. Only the materials for which the tool field is checked are displayed in the materials list accessed through this field.

In the LOGO application, Tool option of the Material is checked to indicate that the material will be used as a tool. If the tool is not recorded, it can be defined by clicking on "New" button. 

Description: The name or description of the tool to be used. When the Code field is filled in, the description of the selected material is transferred on this field. The material records can also be accessed through this field by clicking on "..." icon. 

Quantity: Indicates the number of tools to be used. 

Unit: Indicates the Unit of the tool to be used.
