This tab is used to specify the characteristics of the material defined in the card and the possible values. The values and their descriptions are recorded as lines. The number of lines is unlimited. The Material Characteristics accessed and selected through this page are defined using Material Characteristics option located under the Main Records menu of the Material Management section.
The information recorded in the Material Characteristics tab:
Characteristic Set Code / Description: Used to select characteristic set for the configurable materials.
Characteristic Code: The characteristic code of the material. The Material Characteristics list is opened by clicking on "..." icon and the appropriate definition is selected.
Characteristic Description: The description of the material characteristic selected in the Characteristic Code field is directly displayed in this field. The Material Characteristics can also be listed and selected on this field.
Characteristic Value: This field is used to define the Characteristic Value to be applied for the material. The defined Characteristic Values are listed and the relevant value is selected.
