Used to record G/L collection and payment transactions. The upper section of the G/L Collection and G/L Payment windows contains the Safe Deposit Code and Safe Deposit Number of the transaction.
The account, transaction amount and project info of collection and payment transactions are recorded on the related fields.
If German Legislation will be used, the transaction VAT rate is entered from related field on slip. If VAT default is specified in Finance parameters, it is transferred to this field automatically; can be changed if necessary. The VAT amount, which is calculated by considering safe deposit transaction amount and specified VAT rate, and VAT Excluded transaction amount is tracked from Amount and VAT amount fields.
F. Currency Entry option located in the right mouse button menu is used to record currency information regarding G/L transactions performed through the safe deposit.
In collection and payment slips, which are recorded from safe deposit, the overhead pool and projects that the transactions of G/L accounts are related to are recorded by applying distribution templates or entering distribution details directly. For that, the following options are used which are located in right mouse button menu of G/L collection / payment transaction window:
- Apply Account Distribution Template (Safe Deposit)
- Account Distribution Details (Safe Deposit)
When "Apply Account Distribution Template" is selected, previously defined templates are listed which are belonging to related account. In order to apply a distribution template, date, division and department controls are done.
By applying selected template, the distribution details are generated. If there are previously generated distribution details, by applying template, old transactions are deleted and new detail lines are generated appropriate with template.
The Project Code, which is entered to G/L Payment or Collection Transaction window, is transferred to account distribution details automatically.
