The Finished Good Child Materials tab of the Material card is used to record the amounts and the unit sets with which the inputs of a finished good will be used. The Finished Good Child Materials is only available for Finished Good materials. The single level Bills of Materials are rapidly generated by defining the materials of the finished good.

The information of the material to be produced and the inputs to be used in production is recorded in the Finished Good Child Materials tab.
Material Code: The Child Material Code of the Finished Good defined in the card. The defined materials are listed and a selection is made from among the materials other than Fixed asset materials. Material Description: The name or the description of the material.
Quantity: Indicates the amount of defined material to be used. If the selected unit is divisible, decimal values can be entered into this field.
Unit: The Main Unit information of the Unit Set of the selected Material is displayed as default in this field. Indicates the unit with which the material will be used.
Scrap Rate: The scrap rate to occur during the usage of the selected material is entered into this field.
