"Account Type" field is located in account cards as to be used in inflation accounting transactions.
Account characteristics consist of the following options:
- Monetary
- Non-monetary (Debt)
- Non-monetary (Credit)
If an account is monetary, it means that it is kept in cash or it will be collected/paid in cash. All other values apart from monetary values and included in balance sheet of the company are non-monetary values.
The relevant account characteristics are displayed as default in accordance with "Standard Chart of Accounts" which is generated while generating company files.
