The activities recorded on this field are processed for the transfer and the distribution of operation expenses from G/L accounts to cost objects (finished products).
If cost accounting is used, overheads that will affect the operation requirement lines are recorded using the Activities option of the right mouse button menu. The following information is recorded on the Activities window:
Activity Code /Activity Description: Indicates the overhead code and description of the operation when cost accounting is used. The defined overheads can be listed from both fields by clicking on "..." icon, and the appropriate definition can be selected. Overheads are indicated as a result of an operation-based activity by checking the Activity field of the definition record. Only the Activity type definitions can be selected from the overheads list accessed through Operations option.
Quantity Formula: Indicates the overhead quantity. Data can be entered directly into the quantity field, or formulas can be generated using standard or user-defined functions.
Quantity: The Overhead quantity.
Activity Unit: The overhead quantity unit.
Activity Time: Indicates the operation stage in which the activity is performed. This field consists of two options:
- Start of Operation
- End of Operation
