After saving the related slip, the 'available' parameter is unchecked for the assets in "Transport Vehicle, Real Estate and Equipment" categories, and the current allocation location information is deleted.
For other assets, system performs a control initially to ensure that quantity in the current allocation locations is fully removed from the company. If they are removed, the current allocation location record is deleted; otherwise, the quantity information is updated.
If the asset is fully removed from the current allocation location, and if there are no other current allocation records left after deleting the current allocation location information, the 'Available' box is unchecked for the asset. When the record is created, a decommissioning is saved in database for both the asset and related child assets. Slip links are also recorded for all lines.
Furthermore, the End Date of the resource usage records for assets in "Transport Vehicle, Real Estate and Equipment" categories with current allocation types of "Asset/Asset Part/Org. Unit/Employee/AR/AP" are updated according to "Decommissioning date and time", while the resource usage end date of the asset is updated if the related asset is an "Other Asset" and the current allocation location is deleted. However, if the transaction covers only quantity update and not deletion, only the quantity information is updated in the resource usage record.
Furthermore, if a material-related asset with "Warehouse" current allocation location is in question, an asset output slip will be automatically generated for that warehouse in the material management section.
