In j-Guar application, information about purchased, sold and produced materials is recorded by selecting the type. The material record type is used to classify materials. The classification is aimed to provide increase in automation and flexibility in reporting.

Material information is recorded by clicking the Arrow icon next to the “New” option on the Materials list, and by selecting the material type.

Material record types are determined according to the purpose of use, and the purchase and sale types. Material record types are:

Commercial Good

Products that are only purchased and sold and not involved in the production are recorded in the inventory as commercial goods.

Deposited Item

The deposit operations are used by the purchasing or selling organizations to track the deposited purchase, sales or return operations.

Asset

The record type used to record assets used in transactions.

Raw Material/ Semi-Finished Good/ Finished Good

The Semi Finished Good and Finished Good materials are used along with the Raw Materials, especially in the production stages of companies who sell the products they manufacture. These materials are separately recorded as Raw Material, Finished Good and Semi-Finished Good in the J-Guar application.

Consumer Good

Used to record the internal consumption materials such as fuel and stationery.

Assorted

Configurable set materials consisting of different variants of a material.

Material Set

Sets consisting of different materials.
