The Factoring Definitions menu option is located under the Definitions menu in the Finance module. This option is used to enter information about the Factoring contract.
The buttons on the Factoring Definitions list screen and the options in the right click menu are given below.
| New | Used to define a factoring contract. | |
| Update | Used to update the factoring contract information. A factoring definition that has a factoring record cannot be updated. | |
| Delete | Used to delete the factoring definition. A factoring definition that has a factoring record cannot be deleted. | |
| View | Used to view the factoring definition information. The factoring definition displayed using this option cannot be updated. | |
| Copy | Used to copy the factoring definition information. Ensures to enter the information fast and securely. | |
Number of Records | Used to view the total card number in Factoring Definitions with the type and quantity of cards. | ||
Update Status | Used to update the status of the factoring definition as Active or Inactive. The status of a factoring definition that has a factoring record cannot be updated as Inactive. | ||

Export to Excel | Used to export Factoring Definitions to Excel. |
It is not allowed to update or delete the factoring definition cards recorded in the Finance>Transactions>Factoring Records list. The "This factoring definition is being used by a factoring record." warning is displayed.
