j-Guar involves minimum, maximum, safety, and negative inventory level controls and budget control for materials. The warehouse parameters options on the material card is used to record material levels in each warehouse and the level control methods depending on these quantities. Transactions are recorded on slips and invoices by processing these inventory levels.

In addition to level control, warehouses, where the material/material class will be processed, can be defined, allowing input/output to/from only these warehouses.

Control and methods are defined on the Input/Output Control field of the Warehouse Parameters section.

These defaults recorded for the material using the warehouse parameters are transferred as default into the related slips and invoices. However, certain situations may require level and input/output controls not to be performed. In this case, the Control Options option located in the Operations menu of the slip lines is used. The relevant control options required to apply to the slip line is checked in the Control Options window. The selected controls are performed for the relevant slip.
