j-Platform application groups assets under specific categories and the asset information is recorded by their properties. Assets are grouped under the following categories.

  • Real Estates
  • Transport Vehicles
  • Equipment
  • Other Assets

The asset categories are located in the Definitions option in the Asset Management module.

The real estates, equipment, transport vehicles and other assets are saved through Asset Management> Definitions> Real Estates/ Equipment/ Real Estates/ Other Asset List> New.

The related icons and options on Attached Records, Info and right-click menu are used to make a new definition and for the operations to do for the existing records.

New

Used to save the asset info.

Update

Used to update the asset info.

Delete

Used to delete the asset records one by one or in batch.

View

Used to view the definition info.

Copy

Used to copy the definition info to an empty card. Used to enter info quickly.


Commissioning

Used for the commissioning operations.


Decommissioning

Used for the decommissioning operations


Refresh

Used to update the asset list.


Preferences

Used for the Back to Defaults and Line Coloring operations to go back to defaults.


Number of Records

Used to view the real estate number recorded in the asset list.

Print

Used to print the asset info in the label form.

Attached Records

 


Parts

Used to define the parts attached to the asset.


Asset Parts

Used to save the asset parts for the real estate, equipment, transport vehicles.


Group Connections

Used to save the group connections of the assets.


Checkpoints

Used to save the checkpoint info.


Drivers

Used to match the drivers to be selected from the employees and the transport vehicles and specify the default value.


Standard Costs

Used to save the asset standard costs for the real estate/equipment/transport vehicles.


Shifts

Used to save the shift info.


Shift Exceptions

Used to save the exemptions of the shift info.  It is located under Equipment> Asset> Attached Records.


Life Cycle Schedule

Used to track and arrange the life cycle schedule of the assigned asset.


Asset Documents

Used to save and track the documents of the assets and add their original version to the document catalog.


Depreciation Table

Used to get the depreciation table and perform the evaluation operations.


Depreciation Table (Alternative)

Used to get the alternative depreciation table and perform the evaluation operations.


Depreciation Table (IFRS)

Used to get the depreciation table and perform the evaluation operations by IFRS.


Over Years Costing and ROFM Input

Used to enter the ROFM and the over years costing values.


Over Years Costing and ROFM Input (Alternative)

Used to enter the ROFM and the over years costing values by the alternative parameters.


Usage Request

Used to list the usage requests of the assets.


Transfer Slips

Used to save the transfer operations of the asset.


Maintenance Requests

Used to record a maintenance request if there is a protective or failure maintenance request of real estate/equipment/transport vehicle/other assets.


Maintenance Orders

Used to record a maintenance request if there is a protective or failure maintenance order of real estate/equipment/transport vehicle/other assets.


G/L Accounts (First Chart of Account)

Used to record the G/L account for the first chart of account.


G/L Accounts (Second Chart of Account)

Used to record the G/L account for the second chart of account.


G/L Accounts (Third Chart of Account)

Used to record the G/L account for the third chart of account.


Additional Fixed Asset Definition

Used to save the additional fixed assets of the asset.


Document Catalog

Used to track the documents related to the assets.


Lot/Serial Numbers

Used to track the lot/serial no for the other asset. It is located in the attached records menu of the other assets only.


Related Records

Contract Connections

Used to access the contract transactions through the asset when making the asset connection by selecting Assets in Sales/Purchase Contracts> F9-Service.


Maintenance Operations

The options under the Maintenance Operations menu are used to generate a Maintenance Request and Maintenance Order through the assets.

Purchase Invoices

Used to access the purchase transactions of the asset.


Sales Invoices

Used to access the sales transactions of the asset.


Material Slips

Used to access the material slips of the asset.


Totals

Used to list the totals of the asset.


Related Asset

Used to view the other assets related to the real estate/equipment/transport vehicles.


Current Allocation Points

Used to list the current allocation point info for the asset.


Distributed Costs

Used to list the distributed cost info for the asset.


Expenses

Used to track the asset-related expense records.


Rental Income

Used to access the contract transactions of the assets in scope of service and the invoices of the transactions through the asset. The related invoice is viewed by accessing Sales Invoices.


Rental Expense

Used to access the contract transactions of the assets in scope of service and the invoices of the transactions through the asset. The related invoice is viewed by accessing Purchase Invoices.


Record Info

Used to display by whom and when the asset is recorded and changed.


Tracking

Used to list and view the system tracking records.
