New product lines are defined using the Product Line window accessed by clicking on "New" button located at the bottom of the product lines list. The fields and functions on the Product Line window are as follows:
Code: The code of the product line.
Description: The name or the description of the product line.
Aux. Code: The aux. code of the product line. The code allows the user to classify the product lines by company specific criteria.
Authorization Code: The authorization code of the product line. Up to 10 alphanumeric characters can be used for coding. Each user may be authorized to access different records depending on job definitions. Used to define detailed authorizations.
Status: Indicates the usage status of the product line definition. The Status field has two options: Active and Passive.
In the LOGO application, the default value of the status field is active.
