Material Window

The Material information is kept in a separate card for each material. The Material cards are used to record the General Ledger Codes, detailed Lead and Delivery Time information along with the Material Code and Description. The Materials are generated by selecting a Record Type.
The fields and functions on the Material window are:


Code: The code of the material. The code field is mandatory.
Description: The name or the description of the material. The description of the material can be recorded in other languages by clicking on icon at the right of the field. The language options are listed in a new window. The description information for the selected language is recorded in the Translation column.
E-Business Code: Used in electronic commerce and virtual shop applications. The security number provided by LogoConnect server for web based transactions.
The material information is recorded on the relevant fields of the General Info, Tracking, Units, Alternatives, Mixed case contents, Material Characteristics, G/L Accounts, Customers/Suppliers, Bill of Materials Relation, Finished Good Child Materials and E-Shop tabs located on the Material window.
