These documents are issued by intermediary bank mediating for importation/exportation in exchange of payments made by customer (currency transfer)/payments made to seller (currency transfer) for imported/exported good costs. Conversion transactions (for purchase and sales) information is saved by selecting bank transaction slip type as Conversion Letter (for Purchase/Sales).
Information to be saved over this slip can be grouped under the following headings:

  • Slip Heading
  • Slip Lines
  • Slip General Info


Slip Heading Info
Slip Number: It is the tracking number of transaction in computer. When assigning number, letter and number can be used together. Slips are ordered according to their numbers. Slip number is a mandatory field.
Slip Date: It is the date on which transaction is performed. Slip date is a mandatory field.
Auxiliary Code: It is the second code field which is 10 characters long used to group transactions. Auxiliary code is used to group bank slips according to a set of specific criteria of user's own company.
Authorization Code: It is used to define authorizations on record basis. This field is 10 characters long. Records which will be available for usage will change according to work definition of each user. In order to define authorization in detail, you need to make planning first. Records and transactions that will be available for specific users or user groups must be determined initially. Afterwards different authorization codes must be assigned for transaction types that will be used by authorization groups.
Project Code: It is the project code related to the slip. Recorded projects are listed and the relevant definition is selected.
Slip Line Info
Bank Account Code: It is the bank account code of transaction.
Bank Account Name: It is the bank account name. When bank account code is given, it is transferred to the field automatically.
Import/Export File Code: It is the field in which code of import/export file in regard to which conversion letter (for purchase/sales) is received is selected.
Import/Export File Name: It is the field in which the selected import or export file name is entered.
Currency: It is the field in which currency type of the selected import or export file is displayed automatically.
AR/AP Code: It is the field in which AR/AP code of the selected import or export file is displayed automatically.
AR/AP Title: It is the field in which AR/AP title of the selected import or export file is displayed automatically.
Trading Group: It is the trading group which the selected import or export file is related to.
Amount: It is the field in which conversion letter (for purchase/sales) amount is entered.
Amount in FC: It is the field in which conversion letter (for purchase/sales) amount in FC is entered.
Customs Declaration Form (Import/Export) Amount: It is the field in which amount of Customs Declaration (Import) of Export/Import file is displayed automatically.
Customs Declaration Form (Import/Export) Amount in FC: It is the field in which amount of Customs Declaration (Import) of Export/Import file is displayed in foreign currency automatically.
Customs Declaration Form (Import/Export) Remaining Amount: It is the field in which Customs Declaration (Import) amount that must be closed as a result of conversion letter (for purchase/sales) amount is displayed automatically.
Customs Declaration Form (Import/Export) Remaining Amount in FC: It is the field in which Customs Declaration (Import) amount in FC that must be closed as a result of conversion letter (for purchase/sales) amount is displayed automatically.
Parity of Customs Declaration Form (Export/Import): It is the field in which parity info used in conversion of foreign currency of Customs Declaration (Export) is entered in case conversion letter (for purchase/sales) and Customs Declaration (Import) currency types are different.
Transaction Date: It is the date on which transaction is performed.
Document Number: It is the field in which document number is entered.
Description: It is the description of slip line. It is an alphanumeric field which is 50-character long.
Transaction Aux. Code: Transaction Aux. Code field is used to group slip lines. This code is used to filter a group of information when taking a report and view grouped information fully. This field can be used to save data which does not exist in the application, yet user wants to record in slip lines.
Bank Tracking No: It is the bank tracking number of transaction in line.
AR/AP Bank Branch: It is the bank branch to which AR/AP of the selected import/export file is related.
Project Code: It is the project code which the transaction in slip line is related to. Recorded projects are listed and the relevant definition is selected.
AR/AP Bank Account No.: It is the bank account number of AR/AP of the selected import/export file.
IBAN: It is the bank account IBAN number.
Collateral Type: if you collateralize for transaction, collateral type is specified in this field.
Collateral Portfolio No.: It is used to select collateral in accordance with your selection in Collateral Type field.
Contractor of Cost: It is used to specify contractor of cost for the transaction in line.
Cost Account: It is used to specify Cost Account by which transaction in line will be tracked.
Slip Total Info
This section is located at the bottom of slip window. Total info of bank account transactions in slip is displayed and slip description and currency type to be used in slip general and slip lines are saved.
