Production Route Window

The routes are defined using "New" button located at the bottom of the production routes window. The following information is recorded on the Production Route window that opens:
Code: The code of the production route. The code field is mandatory.
Description: The name or the description of the production route.
Status: Indicates the usage status of the production route. The status field has two options: Active and Passive. Route definitions with passive status cannot be used in production orders.
Aux. Code: The aux. code of the production route. The code allows the user to classify the routes by company specific criteria. The string is 10 characters long. Alphanumeric characters can be used to define the code.
Authorization Code: The authorization code of the production route. Used to define detailed authorizations. The string is 10 characters long. Alphanumeric characters can be used to define the code.

The Route Lines section of the production route window is used to record the information of the operations to be used in the production process.
Line Number: Indicates the priority of the route line. Route definition priorities are determined by lines; the uppermost line is the first in order of priority. "Up" and "Down" buttons are used to change priority. When "Down" button is clicked, the selected line is moved to the next line below. When "Up" icon is clicked, the selected line is moved to the next line above.
Operation Code: The code of the operation to be contained within the route definition. Operation definitions are listed by clicking on "..." icon, and the appropriate definition is selected. "New" button is used to generate new definitions.
Operation Description: The name or the description of the operation in the route line. The operation records can also be accessed through this field by clicking on "..." icon.
Costing: The box on this field is checked if the operation in the line affects the costing transactions.
Line Comment: The description of the route line.
