Sales orders may be fulfilled through demands. In this case, "Link to Demand Transaction" option located in the right mouse button menu of the slip line is used.
The slip number field of the demand slip connection window lists the recorded demand transactions. This list contains only the demand transactions that are specified as linkable to orders and with approved status. The demand transaction to be linked to the sales order is selected.
The demand quantity to be linked to the sales order is specified on the Linked quantity field.
- Linked quantity cannot exceed the order quantity.
- If the quantity to be linked is equal to or greater than the demand quantity, the status of the linked demand line changes to Closed.
- The quantity to be delivered for such demand transactions is the quantity not linked to any sales order.
Linked demands and sales orders may vary in terms of usage in planning. Demand slip quantity which will be included in planning consists of unlinked slip quantity. The linked quantity is included in planning through the sales order.
