The tab used to record the general information of the sales opportunity. The fields and functions of the tab are as follows:

Opportunity No: The number assigned to the sales opportunity.

Description: The name or description of the sales opportunity.

Aux. Code: This field can contain up to 10 alphanumeric characters. This field is not mandatory; it can also be used to process information not contained on the slip. The aux. code is typically used to group the sales opportunities by company specific criteria.

Authorization Code: This field can contain up to 10 alphanumeric characters, and is used to define authorizations on a per record basis. This field is not mandatory. In the LOGO application, each user may be authorized to access different records depending on the job definitions. Planning must be the first step in order to define authorizations by record. First the records that the users or user Groups can access are specified. Then separate authorization codes are assigned to records accessible by each authorization group.

Date: Indicates the record date of the sales opportunity. The current date is displayed as default. The calendar is displayed by clicking on "..." icon, and the date can be changed if necessary.

Status: The field used to specify the status of the planned sales. The status field contains the following options.

  • Opportunity
  • Analyzing
  • Potential
  • Interviewing
  • Waiting
  • Proposal
  • Contract
  • Cancel
  • In Force
  • Completed

The status is specified depending on the sales activities performed.

Customer: The code of the customer for whom a sales operation is planned. The customer code selected from the customers list of the sales activities window is displayed as default, and can be changed if necessary.

Customer Title: The title of the customer for whom a sales operation is planned.

Contact Name: The contact person of the customer for whom a sales operation is planned. The contact records of the selected customer are listed, and a selection is made.

Estimated Close Date: Indicates the estimated close date of the planned sales. The calendar is displayed by clicking on "..." icon, and the date is specified and inserted. This field is mandatory.

Expiration Date: Indicates the close date of the planned sales. The calendar is displayed by clicking on "..." icon, and the date is specified and inserted.

Success Rate (%): The field used to specify the sales success rate as a percentage.

Estimated Income: The income to be earned in case that the sale is performed.

F.Currency Type: This field is used to specify the currency type to be used for the sales. The F. currency types are listed and the appropriate currency is selected.

Income in F.C.: The income in foreign currency to be earned in case that the sale is performed.

Comment: The field used to record the comments of the salesperson or the person in charge of the negotiations about the sales opportunity.
