For a transfer operation to a new company, first of all, period independent tables of company should be copied to new company. For this transaction, in "Company" field, the company is selected that will be transferred to new period. In "New Company" field, a company number is given that has not been defined in system administration program section before. 
Carrying over can be done to companies which are in different databases. 

!! This feature will be provided when carrying over is done beginning from 1.90.00 version. Details are specified in 1.90.00 Carrying Over Regulations part. 

Firm Copying Operation works as follows: 

  • After company files and period files are generated for the new company, source firm's info is transferred to new company.
  • The companies that have not been generated by copying cannot be selected as Target Company. If it is wanted to recopy on a firm that was generated as a result of copying before, program warns the user with "First must be the controls executed which are before copying." message. By the direction of user preference, either recopying is performed or transaction is cancelled.
  • The data of system administration part of copied company is also transferred to new firm:
    1. Division, Department, Plant, Warehouse info, Authorizations
    2. Company Working Info
    3. The information defined in System Administration / Global part
    4. Record Numbering Templates
  • Additional fields, user-defined slips, user-defined reports and forms
  • Period independent tables are copied by new company number.
  • Workflow records, role definitions and tasks are copied to new company.
  • Production orders and distribution orders are not transferred to copied company.
  • Campaign and price card validity dates are transferred to new firm as they are.
