"Start Working as Fiscal Period Independent" option located in F9 menu that is accessed over company definitions is used to work without periods irrevocably.
After starting to work without periods, period end dates of defined periods can be changed. Provided that user end date is not earlier than the previous end date, the required date can be entered.
When a company has more than one period, the coincidence of dates can not be controlled. This control is up to user's initiative.
Carrying over operations aren't required in regard to Administration when "Fiscal Period Independent" option is used. The only carrying-over operation to be performed in application is G/L Carrying-Over used to generate G/L "opening/closing" slips.
Regardless of fiscal period range of user's working period, G/L transactions will be performed by specifying fiscal year.
