The AR/AP slip having exchange rate difference information can be issued automatically through the exchange rate difference calculation transaction, or by entering data directly.
The slip information is as below.
Slip No: This number is transferred automatically. Exchange rate difference vouchers have subsequent numbers as in other slip types. Exchange rate difference voucher numbers entered by the user or generated automatically by the application are assigned automatically following the number of the previous voucher in the system.
Date: When the exchange rate difference voucher is recorded by the user, the date of the working day is automatically displayed on this field. When the voucher is generated by the application instead, the calculation date specified on the filter line is transferred into the field.
Aux. Code: The aux. code of the slip. Used to classify exchange rate difference slips by company specific criteria.
Authorization Code: The authorization code of the slip. Used to define detailed authorizations and to provide data security. Only the user with the authorization code specified here can process the slip.
G/L Slip No: The number of the G/L slip generated for the transaction according to the main chart of accounts.
G/L Slip No (2): The number of the G/L slip generated for the transaction according to the second chart of accounts.
G/L Slip No (3): The number of the G/L slip generated for the transaction according to the third chart of accounts.
Document No: The number of the transaction document.
Organizational Unit: The organizational unit code of the exchange rate difference. Defined organizational units are listed and the related unit is selected.
Department: The department code of the exchange rate difference. Recorded department definitions are listed and the related definition is selected.
AR/AP Code / Title: The code and title of the AR/AP for which the exchange rate difference is calculated.
Trading Group: Indicates the trading group of the AR/AP. If a trading group is defined in the AR/AP definition, it is transferred on this field. This data can be changed if necessary.
Description: The description of the transaction line. The description entered on the filter lines is transferred into this field.
Debit / Credit: Indicates the exchange rate difference debit or credit amount depending on the transaction type.
Reporting Currency, Exchange Rate and Total: Includes the reporting currency of the transaction.
Transaction Currency, Exchange Rate and Total: Includes the transaction currency of the transaction.
VAT Rate and VAT Amount: Indicates the VAT rate applied to the transaction, and the VAT amount calculated using this rate. The VAT Rate specified in Finance Parameters is displayed as default.
Payment Plan: The payment plan of the transaction on the line. Recorded plans are listed and the related definition is selected.
Transaction Aux. Code: The transaction aux. code field is used to group the slip lines, filter a group of information during report generation and to display the totals of the grouped information. This field can be used to record any necessary information that is not included in the application but required to be added to the slip line. The Transaction Aux. Code on the line is different from the Aux. Code located at the top of the slip. The Aux. Code located at the top is a code pertaining to the slip bottom, while the Transaction Aux. Code is used to group transactions.
Receipt Number: The receipt number of the transaction. This field is used to specify the receipt number of the transaction when more than one document is entered into the same slip.
