In order to define a new task use "New" option. The fields and functions on the scheduled task window are:
Code: The task definition code.
Description: The short description of the task.
Warnings
The fields under this heading are used to select beginning alert and end alert receivers from the Distribution List reached by using "..." buttons. The list to be used to send warning message at the end or beginning of the task is created from this section.
Alert at the End / Alert at the Beginning: In the event of marking these fields, users will take warning messages at the beginning and end times of the task.
Status: The status info of the task. Contains "Undelivered", "Continuing", "Completed" and "Not Completed" options.
Next Transaction Series: This field is used to select the transaction series to start once the current series is completed.
Repetition: Transaction series is repeated according to the options below:

  • Run One Time
  • While Entering the Program
  • Systematically Increasing
  • Week Day
  • Day of Month
  • Day of Year


Run One Time: Will run once on the date and time specified.
While Entering the Program: Will run every time that the related user enters to the program.
Systematically Increasing: New transaction series will run incrementally within given periods.
Week Day: Used in transactions to run in certain days of the week.
Month: Each, January, ...., December
Day: Each, First, Second, Third, Fourth, Last
Day2: Monday, … , Sunday
Day of Month: Used in transactions to run in certain days of the month.
Month: Each, January, ...., December
Day: Each, 1, ... ,31, First workday, Last workday, First holiday, last holiday
Day of Year: Used in transactions to run in certain days of the year.
Repetition Validity: Used to enter the repetition validity time of the task. Start and End fields are used to determine the validity time. This provides a more planned working facility for the users and managers will able to track the performance of the workers easily.
System date and hour info is transferred to Start field directly and can be changed.
End field has two options:

  • Until Task Ends
  • After Repetition


Until task ends selection shows that the defined transaction series will continue until the task is completed.
After repetition selection indicates that the transaction series will be repeated as much as the entered value in this field.
Operation Alternative: Used to select required transactions and reports belonging to the task to be performed. The transaction series run according to the order selected on this field.
Parameter: The parameters to be used for such transaction series are selected on the Parameters field and transferred into the parameters section using the Transfer command.
Alert When Operation Starts: Allows a warning to be sent to the user specified on the warnings section when a transaction begins.
Alert When Operation Ends: Allows a warning to be sent to the user specified on the warnings section when a transaction ends.
In order to list and sort the task at scheduled tasks window "Level" button is used which is located at the bottom left-hand corner of the window. When this button is used, down-up arrows are displayed. By using these arrows, the defined tasks are arranged. So, a following level transaction will start after a former level transaction is completed.
Each task is displayed at Scheduled Tasks list as a single line with some info such as record code, record date, and record time.
If repetition info has been entered belonging to completed task serial, new task serial is generated directly in accordance with specified parameters when serial is completed.
When "Actualize Task" button is used, that task transactions will be started immediately in accordance with the parameters determined at scheduled task definition no matter what the starting time of the task is.
