The option is used to record the category definitions. The option is located in the Sales Proposal Management System menu of the Sales and Distribution module. The sales management categories are as follows:
- Customers
- Contacts
- Special Days
Each category has predefined defaults in the LOGO application.
New definitions are added by entering the definition number and description in the empty fields within the category window, and clicking on "Save" button.
The defaults of the sales management categories defined in the LOGO application are as follows:

The category definitions are accessed through the Customer, Contact and Special Day windows, and the category is selected. The category information is used as a filter in the reports.
