Foreign currency type information is recorded using the F. Currency Types option located in the Definitions menu of the Administration section.
The F. Currency Types window is displayed as a table. The columns display the Code, Name, Factor and Decimal places of the currency and currency entry information. Information regarding defined currencies are displayed on separate lines.
Buttons located at the bottom of the F. Currency Types window are used to perform transactions on the table. The following transactions can be performed:
Foreign currency types to be included in the F. Currency Types table can be selected by clicking on F. Currency List button.
The foreign currency line at which the cursor is pointing can be deleted by clicking on "Delete Line" button.
All information on the F. Currency Types table can be deleted by clicking on "Delete All" button.
The fields and functions of the F. Currency Types window are:
Number: The sequence number of the foreign currency definition.
Code: The foreign currency code.
Name: The name of the foreign currency.
Coefficient: The coefficient to be used in transactions between foreign currency types.
Decimals: The length of the decimal place for the foreign currency.
Sub-Unit Name: The name of the foreign currency's child unit.
Rate for Euro: The Euro exchange rate value of the currency.
Smallest Sub-Unit: The lowest child unit value for the currency.
Symbol: The symbol representing the currency.
Rounding: Indicates the rounding method to be applied if the result of foreign currency transactions is decimal.
