The option is located at the F9 menu of the BOM which is used to select inputs that will be used for each child material of related material table in the event of using table type material class as output at BOM.
The system works differently according to the selection at Material / Characteristic column in Quick BOM Entry window.

Material Selection: In the event of selecting "Material" option, the user reaches material classes list by Material Class field after X characteristic of material table (output) is selected. After the material class is selected, its child materials which own X characteristic will be matched with X characteristic materials of output material class.
After the Quick BOM Entry window is saved, the finished good and input material class will be matched according to the selected characteristic. So the BOM line will generated automatically. Anchor
