Information such as due dates, amounts, and the issuing bank is recorded on a separate card for each check. Check information is recorded using the check record opened on the lines of the checks received slips. Status changes in checks are recorded using group-processing slips.
When the LOGO application is used for the first time, check information is recorded using the Transfer button located at the bottom of the Checks/P. Notes window.
The Checks/P. Notes window opened by clicking the transfer button consists of two main sections. The upper section displays the check or P. Note information such as Portfolio Number, Serial Number, Currency Typeand Amount. The lower pane of the Check/P. Note window is used to track the history of the check or P. Note. Data cannot be entered directly or changed on these fields.
